Supported Styles and Mediums

All mediums are welcome at MYA, provided the subject matter and style are illustrative (ie. not abstract) and original in nature. Each individual artist is considered on a case-by-case basis. If you do not see see your medium and style listed below, we encourage you to apply anyways as an exception might be made.

Artists who do not have experience creating professional work are eligible.

Physical Art Forms

Please keep in mind that we are not a STEM-focused group and all digital and mechanical works must be created specifically as an artistic endeavour to garner MYA support. All physical mediums are welcome, provided the subject matter is illustrative (ie. not abstract) and original and does not fall under the umbrella of classic ‘fine art’ sensibilities that would be better supported by traditional institutions and groups.
