Eligibility

Thank you for your interest in joining MYA! We wish everyone could join, but our events and offerings are catered toward illustrators. We're especially interested in supporting illustrators with professional goals such as joining markets, creating editorial illustrations, working in the animation field, etc. Because of this, not all artists will benefit from joining. Please note that both traditional and digital artists are welcome.

Here's a rundown of the type of art MYA was made to support. All mediums are welcome at MYA, provided the subject matter and style are illustrative (ie. not abstract) and original. Artists are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you do not see your medium and style listed below, we encourage you to apply anyways as an exception might be made.
